Barack Obama is Pro New Media
One of the perks of working at a large corporation is the amazing speakers they bring in. Today I had the pleasure of hearing Barack Obama speak. One of the items that came up was New Media! He said that what he loved most about new media is that it isn’t scripted and it is authentic voice. The New Media items he puts out are normally on the spot interviews that are then taken by his new media group and within moments distributed out on the Web. He likes that it breaks through the gridlock of information that comes at each of us everyday. He had a lot of other areas he of course touched on. If you’re in New York he has a rally at Washington Square Park this Thursday at 5:00pm.
